Another quickie post. I'm doing a bit of plugging here for my best friend Kitty. She's a very talented lass who has cross stitched for years and therefore is a dab hand at all things 'stichery'. Well, she has now branched out into designing charts, dyeing fabric and threads and has set up a fantastic online shop called 'Sparklies'
I can say from first hand experience that it's well worth a look. She's come up with some really beautiful fabric pieces and some very unusual floss colours. Also I can vouch for her and say that she's a great lass and if you decide to buy, you will be greatly impressed by her customer service.

She has some wonderful items. While I was bouncing around the site (mostly eyeing the fabric) my DD came in and saw her pattern of the Gecko. Since Amber has 2 gecko's she thought that was especially neat. Hmmm I think I may have a stashing fix in my future. :)
Wow I am impressed, I like the butterflies and the threads and *drool* LOL I think when my money comes in I will be buying some new stash from her. :)

Well sometime in the future you should be seeing the gecko turn up in my WIP's. I just ordered the Gecko with hand dyed fabric kit. My DD just accepted a postion with the circus, so will be leaving in about two weeks. She can't take her pets with her, so her cat and 2 gecko's will be staying with me. Needless to say she's kind of down about that. Stitching the Gecko for her so she has a Gecko (even if not a real one) to have with her is something she'll enjoy having.
